Did you know that one of the biggest secrets to success on GreenPal is maintaining a solid reliability rating? Your rating reflects how often you mow on the scheduled day and directly influences how much homeowners trust and choose your services. Here's how to leverage this to compete smarter and not just on price.

What Is a Reliability Rating?

Your reliability rating is a measure that shows potential clients how reliable you are in terms of showing up on the day they expect you to. It’s calculated based on how often you complete jobs on the scheduled day.

Why It Matters

Homeowners prioritize reliability when choosing a lawn service. A high-reliability rating makes you stand out and can be more influential than competitive pricing.

How to Maintain and Improve Your Reliability Rating

Regularly Check Your Rating

You can view your current reliability rating on your GreenPal mobile app dashboard. It updates every Tuesday night, reflecting your performance from the past week.

Manage Schedules Proactively

To ensure you always hit the scheduled day:

  1. Monitor Weather Forecasts: If bad weather might prevent you from servicing on a scheduled day, plan to mow a day early.

  2. Communicate with Clients: If you need to reschedule, contact your client as soon as possible to agree on a new date. Always use the GreenPal app to reschedule officially to keep records straight.

Utilizing the 3-Day Window

GreenPal’s system allows you to service lawns one day before, on the day of, or one day after the scheduled date. While this flexibility helps, remember that you’re only scored positively if you complete the job on the originally scheduled day.

What to Do If Delays Happen

  1. Immediate Rescheduling: Use the app to reschedule within the allowed one-day before or after the scheduled date without penalty.

  2. Client Communication: Explain any delays due to unforeseen circumstances and confirm the new date to ensure client satisfaction.

Avoiding Negative Impacts

If a job is delayed more than 48 hours, your account may be temporarily locked, and your payments could be held until the situation is resolved. Maintaining communication and managing schedules efficiently prevents these issues.
