This Pro's Story

Having been born/raised in the proverbial "concrete jungle" of Brooklyn, NY, I took delight in grooming the greens when I relocated to Florida several decades ago. Besides my property, I maintain my immediate neighbors' lawns. As a 5x cancer survivor who was given a terminal sentence years ago, I relish being in nature as much as possible. (Feel free to tap my shoulder if you wish to chat about the lengthy cancer journey--since my teens.) As an artist, I cater acute attention to detail, eyeing each plot of grass as one huge canvas to craft (groom) and frame (edge) and dust (blower). My lawncare clients are benefactors, relying on a professional whose passion remains right on their real estate for their personal enjoyment. Although I have a conventional array of lawncare equipment, and study/measure the inherent pros/cons of industry engineering, I consider the quietest devices without forfeiting top-notch tools to get the jobs done accordingly. My new blower's subtle engine sound is soft music to me ears; will be buffered for yours also. As mega investments, homes and/or commercial structures deserve an attractive foreground; I delight in being the guy who handles the cosmetic curb appeal.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

Although I launched Lawnman Grass Grooming in 2025, I have been engaged in lawncare since maintaining my property along with several neighbors' homes. Like driving, I enjoy the activity; helps me process life while spending time in nature.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

My business practices derive pride from timeliness and guaranteed satisfaction: quality over quantity is a mainstay. Lest we lack acknowledging robust relationships. With vast experience in public safety and the resources that enable community members to navigate confidently, I derive personal fulfillment in ensuring their lawncare needs...as well as lending ears for neighborly chats. Bottom line: A robust reputation for wonderful work and character traits to exceed expectations is the product and culture you will get to know, to feel assured. I'm not "Jake" from State Farm, but I got you covered!

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Go with the service provider who stands out to you by way of character traits, professional prowess, and needs fulfilled/exceeded (informed by your gut, also). Like any solid relationship, it starts by meeting in the middle. I love what I do; you will see this illustrated and reap the benefits of a passionate professional who is unafraid to get hands dirty for their craft's success.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

The end result! Witnessing a tract of green and grooming it to a vibrantly sculpted masterpiece-level for landowners is fulfilling for all parties, even passersby.

What areas do you mainly service?

Primarily the SouthShore region of Hillsborough County, Florida, consisting of Ruskin, Apollo Beach, Sun City Center, Wimauma, and the outskirts of Riverview, Brandon, and Valrico. However, I consider mutually viable projects outside this general scope.
