Hector's Lawn Care

Hector Mieles is no stranger to the lawn care industry. Hector started his entrepreneurship career with a pool cleaning company over 26 years ago. So when one of his pool cleaning customers asked him to clean up a mess from their current vendor, Hector knew that he could supplement his current business with lawn mowing. So in 1991, Hector started Hector's Lawn Care. One year after starting his landscaping company, he had amassed over 50 lawn mowing customers.

This New York Native has lived in Orlando for over 27 years now and has his headquarters close to the University of Central Florida. He has 4 employees, 3 trucks, and has well over 150 accounts. Some commercial accounts that Hector and his crew service are several McCoy Federal Credit Unions, Christ Church Unity by Holden Ave, and various doctor's offices.

Hector and his crew service Orlando but specifically cut yards in Kissimmee, Florida, Conway, Oviedo, Windermere, Lake Mary, Pine Hills, Belle Isle, St. Cloud, and even mows lawns in Apopka, Florida. His crew are the preferred vendors in Waterford Lakes neighborhood and Goldenrod neighborhood in Orlando.

All of Hector's business is referral based and attributes his success to his attention to detail. "We don’t just mow lawns, we are detailers. What I mean by that is we go above and beyond on everything we do. We also train our employees before letting them run any type of equipment," Mieles explains. "Our customers can always tell that we have been at the property because we are constantly thriving to make the property look perfect."

Hector and his crew also handle tree trimming, mulching, sodding, bush and shrub trimming, tree removal, rock work, planting, leaf removal, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning. "Basically, anything that needs to done on the outside of the house, we can do," Hector says.

When asked what has kept him in this industry so long, he replied, "I am passionate about lawn care." He adds, "I love being outside and seeing the before and after of a property."

When he is not running his lawn empire, Hector loves spending time with his son and grandkids. He also loves taking his Harley Davidson for a spin and loves traveling. He loves cruises and recently visited Cancun.

Mieles loves taking his family to Olive Garden, Kobe's Japanese Restaurant on Kirkman Road, and Mellow Mushroom.
