This Pro's Story
My name is Ryan Ervin, and I have been the sole proprietor of West Meade Lawn Care since 2008. I am a native Nashvillian and grew up in the Crieve Hall and Belmont neighborhoods. I graduated from MLK Jr Magnet High School in 1995 and attended Belmont University. I have been married for 17 years and have a 7 year old daughter.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been on my own in the landscaping business for 11 years, but I have worked in the industry a total of 15 years. I have always enjoyed working outdoors and appreciate the immediate gratification both I and the customer receive from seeing their freshly mowed yard.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I am currently a sole proprietor. I am the person that is responsible for doing work on your property, and I service every yard as if were my own.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
In any area of home service, I would say hire someone who you feel you can trust to do a good job. And it's a cliche, but I've found it to ultimately be true: if you always go the cheapest route, more often than not, you will get what you pay for.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I enjoy traveling around the city and meeting new people on a daily basis, as well as the satisfaction that comes from a job well done.
What areas do you mainly service?
My main areas of service are concentrated in West Nashville, Midtown (Green Hills, Belmont and 12th Ave South), and East Nashville/Inglewood.
