Rooks Lawn Care
Shaun Rooks is originally from Augusta and moved to the Atlanta area in 2000. In his first five years in the area, Shaun worked as a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician. However, this field of work required him to travel abroad which he was not willing to do once he had children. As a result, Shaun decided to enter the lawn care business, as he wanted to be more self-sufficient. In 2007, Shaun established Rooks Lawn Care and became licensed, bonded and registered.
Shaun says this field of work has treated him well over the last decade and attributes this success to word of mouth and Craigslist. These factors have influenced the number of weekly clients Shaun has grown to, which is almost 30. He is very appreciative of his neighborhood as they helped catapult him into this industry and many of them were some of his first clients. Shaun says 90% of his clients are located in the southwest side of town including, but not limited to cities like Campbellton, Union City, Fairburn, Riverdale, Morrow, Stockbridge, East Point, Fayetteville and Jonesborough.
Shaun also caters to those living in and around Decatur, Covington, Stone Mountain and Mableton. Shaun offers pruning, fertilization, weed control, aeration, tree trimming, flower beds, bush trimming, landscape edging, irrigation, clean up, lawn maintenance and lawn installation. Shaun loves to impress his clients by surpassing their expectations and doing more work on their lawn when it is needed. On countless occasions, Shaun has done bush trimming and debris removal for no additional charge. Shaun loves his job and relishes at every opportunity where he gets to help the people in his neighborhood.
