Welcome to GreenPal! To kick things off, start by looking for available lawns in your area. You’ll get a text message whenever there's a new lawn that needs work. Just click the link in the text to bid on the lawn and send your price to the potential client.

Setting Up Payments

To get paid, you need to set up your Stripe card processor account and connect it to your GreenPal account. This is easy to do and its free:

  • Click on "Connect Bank" in your GreenPal account.

  • Follow the instructions (it’s best to use a computer for this).

Stripe will handle all your transactions securely, ensuring you get paid quickly for your hard work.

Understanding Payments

With Your Stripe account, your first few payments will take about five business days to reach your bank account. But don’t worry, once you’ve shown you’re reliable, it’ll only take 48 hours for future payments.

Bidding on Jobs

Bidding is totally free, and it’s important to bid quickly and wisely. You won’t know if someone else gets the job, so always send your best price first. You pay GreenPal a small 5% marketing fee from each job to run the platform, and Stripe takes a 2.9% processing fee. Remember to include these fees in your prices.

For example, if you bid $50 for a job:

  • $2.50 you pay to GreenPal to market your business.

  • $1.45 goes to Stripe.

  • You are left with $46.05.

What to Include in Your Bid

Your bid should cover:

  • Basic mowing for grass under 10 inches tall.

  • Edging along curbs and garden beds.

  • Blowing off clippings from paved areas.

After the Job

Once you finish mowing, upload a photo of your work to get paid. Your GreenPal account will then help you schedule more jobs with that customer.

Keeping Your Customers

The best GreenPal users are quick to bid, do great work, and keep in touch with their clients to arrange more visits. Treat your customers well—they are yours, after all! GreenPal just helps make the connection and handles the payment so you can focus on the lawn care.

Growing Your Business

GreenPal is all about helping you expand your lawn care service. You’ll find getting new customers and managing your business easier.
