Although "Glass & Grass" just started in 2018 this is my second company. My wife and I recently moved to the area to assist in the care of our elderly parents. My first company "Clear Window Solutions" is located in Ashland Virginia and was established in 2005. It is still in operation and is now a turn-key business. How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I have been in the home service industry since 2005. Primarily we began with professional window cleaning only but over the years we have slowly incorporated various services such as gutter cleaning, pressure washing and lawn Maintenance. I entered the industry at 21 after being layed off from a company in the automotive industry. My grandfather owned several businesses, my father owned his own business.. So I decided why not? And set out to try creating my own business from scratch. Best decision of my life! Now I can't imagine sitting behind a desk somewhere and not having the joy of helping someone make their home beautiful.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

Because we focus on making home maintenance hassle free. Not only do we provide lawn maintenance but we also handle pressure cleaning, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, leaf removal and all the things that allow our customers to simply call one trusted company handle multiple jobs.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

As with everything in life, weither it be a service provider or a customer.. treat everyone the way you would like to be treated.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

It's an industry where your able to provide an honest days work, make something beautiful and bring happiness to your customers, what's not to love?

What areas do you mainly service?

Currently we are focused on Fernandina Beach, Yulee and North Jacksonville.
