I have been in business commercially since April of 2010. The inspiration to get started came from being creative and outdoorsy from a very young age.
As far as lawn care, my work stands out primarily due to the detail put into each lawn. I use small mowers to ensure an even cut throughout, change up cutting patterns each cut to ensure consistent growth throughout, use mulching blades for a finer, more beneficial cut and even attend to ornamental bed weeds while cutting. My work isn't a "just knock it down" style of work.
Almost everyone can cut grass, but not everyone can add value in doing so. Ask about cut quality. What type of blades do they use? How often are they sharpened? What do they do to minimize invasive weeds? How do they edge? Where are clippings disposed? Etc. My customers tend to seek quality work that leaves an impression. If the provider you seek can't do so, he or she is really just there to do the bare minimum, which again, anyone can do.
What I like most is that lawn care isn't just cutting grass. There is so much more to maintaining a functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space and I love exploring all the types of ways to make it happen.
