Coastal Cuts of NE FL LLC was founded by A Shaun Mitchell and Wendy Sawyer, who started the business by maintaining neighborhood homes in the St. Augustine/St. Johns County area. The business began truly in in the 1980’s and then again in 2019 as a legitimate company. Shaun & Wendy grew up in the same neighborhood as children and as teenagers they serviced all of their neighbor’s lawns. Even though adulthood initially took them in different directions they’ve come back together in the business they originally began as teenagers. The business was originally created to do residential mowing, landscape installation, pressure washing and other miscellaneous jobs but quickly turned into something much larger. The business is expanding quickly and is presently involved in commercial landscape maintenance as well as residential landscaping/lawn maintenance. Lucky for us Shaun & Wendy both have run other businesses in the past and are well equipped to handle the quick growth with systems in place to accommodate that growth.
Coastal Cuts of NE FL LLC is currently involved in all segments of the landscape industry including landscape installation, lawn maintenance, irrigation installation and maintenance as well as sodding, seeding, aeration, mulch, and flower installation. We pride ourselves in being a full-service landscape company.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
We have a range of plans and services that can meet your needs. This is North East Florida and every lawn is NOT the same. Maybe you have a body if water near your home... have the previous lawn care companies explained Florida's "ring of respect" to keep our water resources safe?
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
The average company will quote you a price to mow your lawn. We have options that meet the unique growing season of our area. Ask us about options. Please make sure your lawn care company is blowing cuttings back into your grass off of your concrete/asphalt surfaces... not only is healthy for your grass it also protects our water resources.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
