How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
Born and raised on the westside of Cincinnati. Oak Hills 2003. Also have degree in Fire Protection. Father of 2 awesome children. Quality. That’s the difference. Anybody that’s physically compatible can usually push a mower around the yard and keep the grass low. That’s not what we offer at The Yard Guy LLC. We offer reliable, professional quality lawn services. We use industry leading equipment. Operated by skilled professionals who are properly training and appropriately compensated.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
It’s outside, I set my own hours and I get to meet people. Most of my customers and I are on a 1st name basis. I provide a “service”. So I have a “To be of Service” mentality.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
Worked in Landscape and Construction industries for over 20 years. I’ve learned a lot and traveled a lot for work. Worked under and with very hard working and highly skilled people. I also missed a lot. Traveling can be very lucrative, but the costs are high. Money can’t buy time and each moment with family especially children is most valuable. Family inspired me. I was fortune enough to have worked for higher end landscape companies while home in-between out of town construction projects. So I knew I had the skill set to open a business I just needed the clientele.
What areas do you mainly service?
Quality. Simple and Straight forward. Quality. Also right now are prices. I’m cheaper than most all other competitors because I have time to fill with work. I find myself taking yards for sometimes 35%-40% cheaper than previous companies. Which is usually always them taking advantage of seniors.
