Tom Snogles founded Sun Power Lawn Care in 2014. Starting at age 19 Tom worked for Test Valley Borough Council which fostered his thirst for horticultural knowledge. He then attended Sparsholt College, England, for 4 years studying Amenity Horticulture and Landscape Practice. Then it was across the pond to the USA in 2007 working for 7 years installing/maintaining landscapes, irrigation, and taking care of lawns in Gainesville, FL. His passion for mother natures beauty and her need for protection gave him the inspiration to try something different and unique. Starting with an idea, Sun Power Lawn Care has blossomed into a growing green business in the heart of North Florida.

FAQs About Lawn Care at Sun Power Lawn Care

Sun Power Lawn Care was established in 2014, but I've been in the landscape industry since 2002. I was inspired to create a professional service as many around me were not.

We focus on detail and leave each property as we would our own homes. We're also quiet as we use electric equipment, and very quick to reply with any requests as we have full time office staff.

Make sure that the provider you hire is fully insured including workers comp. Also keep an eye out for reviews. We have had a couple bad reviews in the past which we turned into 5 stars because we were responsive and fixed the problems that arose, free of charge.

We get very busy in the summer and get to relax a little in the winter.

FAQs About Sun Power Lawn Care

Q: How does GreenPal protect my payment info?

A: All payments are handled securely by Stripe, not stored by GreenPal or the vendor.

Q: Can I use the same GreenPal account to manage multiple properties?

A: Yes. Just add each lawn as a new property and assign the vendor for each one.

Q: Does Tom Snogles mulch or bag grass clippings?

A: Most pros mulch clippings unless requested otherwise. Mulching is better for lawn health and saves time.

Q: Can I book Tom Snogles for same-day service in Gainesville, FL?

A: If you post early in the day, same-day slots are often available — especially on weekdays.

Q: What’s the best time of year to start lawn care in Gainesville?

A: Spring and early summer are ideal — but Tom Snogles is available year-round.
