Prompt service.
A bit disappointed. This vendor accepted my bid and then canceled the next day with no intentions of rescheduling the service. Definitely created a big inconvenience and this was not the service I was hoping to receive from GreenPal.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I started my business in September 2018. I decided to start a business after working for a municipality for 16 years, 12 years as the parks superintendent. Though I am new to the industry commercially, I have been or around the industry for 25+ years.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I am a locally based company in the Kansas City area. I provide custom lawn services on agreement with the property owner. I currently do no utilize contracts but willing to bill in weekly to monthly increments for regular customers in my rotation. Available to provide one time, one off and a variety of services related to property care on residential and small commercial properties. No service requested is to small.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Consider the services you are requesting and if the provider has experience to provide services within the scope of the work to be completed. Make a comparison to the size of the company, equipment available, equipment that may need to be rented and work force available in relation to the size of the work to be completed. Smaller companies are great for smaller to medium size jobs.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
The variety of services that can be offered to customers and the opportunity to gain additional business. The ability to Provide customized services to property owners.
What areas do you mainly service?
I service Johnson County, KS and Jackson County, MO. I prefer to provide services within a 25-30 mile radius of I-435 & State Line Rd. Willing and do have customers further distance usually associated with a minimum charge to begin any work and then bill in 1/4 hour increments, bill based on a quote or not to exceed amount.
