This Pro's Story
Roots of the Earth Inc is a 1 man show. The main mower is a 10hp, 32" Ferris Fw15. There is also a 21" mower, 73cc backpack leaf blower, 13 hp Billygoat leaf vacuum , Atlas 40V electric weedwacker, hedge trimmers, and polesaw. Soon there will be a walk behind leaf blower. Roots of the Earth Inc. donates garden plants to the local community garden, spreads wildflower seeds for bees and butterflies, and fosters good will towards all.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
18 years, and I believe it's the constant challenges. I started gardening at a young age.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Besides the pride taken in a job well done, there is the community aspect and also that the main goal of the business is to research commonly available plants for their medicinal values. There is a %10 goal for charitable donations for 2025.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Don't think twice, just go for it. My mower leaves nice stripes and I've been doing this for 18+ years.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
Getting dirty, and working In the hot sun. Meeting like minded people.
