Quiet Cut Mowing got its start in October of 2020 using modern electric equipment to take care of your yard. That means you don't have to listen to obnoxiously loud mower, blower, and string trimmer engines while your yard is being manicured. It also means there are no stinky gas fumes to pollute the atmosphere around your house. At Quiet Cut Mowing, we provide you with the great looking yard you want, without the noise and fumes that you don't. In addition to mowing, we also offer hedge trimming, gutter cleaning, fall leaf removal, and some snow clearing and tree trimming/removal services.
Lawn & Yard Services Offered:
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I wouldn't consider myself a Landscaper. I'm more of a Groundskeeper. Landscapers often update existing outdoor areas by planting new trees, flowers or bushes, and can even handle things like retaining walls, drainage systems, paving, driveways, patios, porches, raised planting beds, and more. A Groundskeeper generally cares for and maintains the plant life that is already in place. The jobs I primarily focus on are lawnmowing, snow removal, hedge trimming, yard clean-ups, mulching, and rain gutter cleaning. As a teenager, I spent a few years mowing for a number of homeowners. In my twenties and thirties I worked a couple of years for professional lawncare companies. Growing up, and throughout my adult life, I've always had my own yard to care for. And now, in 2021, at the young age of 50, with the advent of quiet, fume free, battery powered riding and walk-behind mowers, and other outdoor battery powered equipment, I've started my own mowing service.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
The thing that is most different about me is the equipment that I use. All of my lawn care tools operate without the need for gasoline and without the noise pollution and fumes that gasoline engines produce.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
You should always check prices and meet with the person who will be mowing your yard or, if it's a large company, the person in charge. That way you'll have an opportunity to gauge that person's temperament and make a somewhat educated decision on whether or not you want to do business with him.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
The freedom to work for yourself while helping others at the same time.
What areas do you mainly service?
I mainly serve Mount Joy, PA and the nearby surrounding area.
