Hi. I am the owner and founder of Pretty City Lawns, a lawn care and lawn maintenance company serving Fayetteville and the surrounding areas. When I first started this business, I asked myself whether I was going into business to serve others or to serve myself. I chose to serve others, first and foremost, and I have never regretted that decision. I enjoy helping people and consider it a privilege, so I hope to get to know and to serve many of you soon.
I started in the lawn care and landscaping industry over 20 years ago. Then, in 2008, I took some time off to earn an associate's degree in horticultural technology, before returning in 2010. For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed being outside and working outside. As a child growing up in Chattanooga, TN and Fayetteville, NC, I could always be found running around in the woods, climbing trees, etc. Given my childhood fascination with nature, when I first started this business, I was looking for a way to make a living, while being outdoors. I learned very quickly that there were other benefits to operating a service business, foremost was that I got to meet some wonderful people and forge some lasting friendships.
