How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

This is our first year. Getting into the landscaping industry and yard mowing work was inspired by our deep love for the outdoors and a desire to transform natural spaces into beautiful, functional environments. There’s something incredibly satisfying about working with the earth, shaping it, and seeing the immediate impact of our efforts—whether it’s a freshly mowed lawn or a garden design that brings a space to life. In our first year, we have truly enjoyed the process of learning and growing in this field. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to refine our skills. The experience has solidified our passion for this work, and we’ve come to appreciate not just the physical aspect of landscaping, but also the creativity it demands. Looking ahead, we are excited to take on bigger and better projects. We hope to expand our expertise and tackle more complex designs that push the boundaries of what we can achieve. The future in this industry feels full of potential, and we're eager to continue evolving, both personally and professionally, in the world of landscaping.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

At Otherside Lawncare and Yard Services, we always say, "The grass is greener on the Otherside," because we believe in the value of quality over quantity. While we may not have a lot of customers, every single one is a happy one. We take the extra time and care with each job, treating every yard as if it were our very own. Our attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that the lawns we care for are always at their best. What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

Working outdoors and seeing our hard work and efforts pay off. Everytime we visit a property that we service you can visually see that the care and pride we take in our services actually does make a difference. Our yards continue to be more beautiful every go around and that instant gratification is our favorite part of what we do.

What areas do you mainly service?

Our headquarters are Located in the Hill country of beautiful San Marcos, Texas. We service a broad radius of about 40 miles in any direction and can make special arrangements if needed. Depending on specifics and circumstances of course.
