Organi-Green is a full service company that provides organic and conventional fertilizer and pest control to both lawn and shrubs. Mowing and maintenance, irrigation repair, landscape design and installation, aquatic lake, pond and fountain maintenance and mosquito control. Lastly, we also offer French drain installations for those low, wet areas with standing water.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

My first job was working for Clark's Landscaping 1n 1981, mowing the Plantation subdivision in Carrollwood while it was still being constructed. I had a small lawn service I worked on the weekends to help pay for college. and while doing so, I steered my education towards Horticulture, obtaining my AS degree in Ornamental Horticulture. Continuing on that path I pursued specialized state licenses, receiving my CPCO (Certified Pest Control Operator) in the category of L&O (Lawn and Ornamental), Aquatics, Limited Urban Fertilizer Applicator, BMP and FNGLA certification. I have spent most of my professional career in the horticulture/ agronomic industries. In my last position I moved into landscape design and estimating. I decided last April to venture out and start my own business. i personally work on every property regardless of the type of service. I am full service that includes maintenance, pest control, landscape design and installation. So know that when you hire me, you hire someone with over 35 years experience in Florida landscapes.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

We all mow with virtually the same types of equipment. The difference is who's providing the service. I take pride in every job I do and it shows.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Know that experience matters. Anyone with a mower and a truck can call themselves a lawn maintenance company. Hire a licensed and insured company and interview them. Walk your yard with them and ask them what they see and what needs to be done.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

I enjoy bringing out the beauty in a landscape either through maintenance, green grass or a new landscape.

What areas do you mainly service?

I service the Tampa Bay area including all of Hillsborough county.
