Brock Young did not set out to run a lawn empire. Brock was initially in the consulting business and was devoting his time to mentoring youths in the community. He came across a few college students who had accumulated a very strong customer base with their lawn care business. The two students approached Brock and informed him that they were not interested in running the business anymore and wanted a way out. Well, Brock decided to take the business over for them and Oasis Lawn & Pool was officially started.

Having grown up in Idaho, Brock came to Florida in 1993 and has lived in Lakeland and Jacksonville but set up his roots in Orlando in 2006. "Orlando is now home and I have enjoyed raising my family here in this great community," Young explains. "We are not going anywhere anytime soon!'

Oasis Lawn and Pool cuts grass in Orlando, Florida, Azalea Park, Conway, Union Park, Alafaya, and even mows lawns in Winter Park, Florida. Brock and his crew are the preferred vendors in the neighborhoods of Avalon Park, Stoney Brook, Eastwood, and Avalon Lake.

Brock and his crew have amassed over 170 homeowners and also service several commercial properties including UCP of Central Florida Schools.

When asked what has led to his tremendous growth, Brock attributes a few things to his success. "We never compete on price and base our work on our high quality work. We also don’t believe in contracts because we want you to pay, not force you to pay," Brock boasts. He goes on to add, "We are not a commodity and we will go above and beyond for our customers and that includes spraying the beds and giving you a property assessment after each mow. If any service ever falls below the expectations of the homeowner, we will come out and fix it that day. Everyone can cut a lawn but not everyone can create an Oasis in your backyard."

Oasis Lawn & Pool is not just your regular lawn care company. They also provide mulching, shrub and bush trimming, tree trimming, full landscape design, leaf removal, pressure washing, stump grinding and removal, and pool cleaning.

Being originally from Idaho and growing up on a farm, Brock has always loved working with his hands and creating things. "I have always loved working outside and seeing something that I dreamed up come to fruition," Young says. "It brings me joy to help as many people with their lawns as possible."

When he has the time, Brock enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his two children. The couple recently frequented Japan and Brock also still loves volunteering his time to teach business and leadership classes.

Brock and his family love to frequent Fuji Sushi in Alafay and The Harp and Celt Authentic Irish Pub on Magnolia avenue in Orlando.
