This Pro's Story
Everybody has to start sometime, although being in business for several years, as you can tell by my ratings and reviews, I am very NEW to the GreenPal app. But with the current COVID19 Pandemic regulations, we at NILES LAWN & Property Services decided to split up our crew and routes, so I am starting a second route with a mixture of some original accounts (and we are for the first time) In need of some new fresh accounts to service. How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
With over 12 years experience in the Lawn Care and Landscaping Industry. Worked for several of the larger and smaller Lawn & Landscaping Contractors in pinellas county. Performing duties from Lawn mower, weed eater, edger and blower operator to Landscape installation to Sprinkler/ Irrigation maintenance and Installation. For several years I worked hard for everyone else, and one day decided to start to save up enough money to get my own stuff and start building my own company.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I have learned in this industry, there are 2 different kinds of lawn servicemen, there are "Lawn Guys" (to which anybody with a truck and a mower can qualify), then there are "Detail oriented Lawn Maintenance Professionals." I would strongly suggest that I am the latter, Strong attention to detail, time management and customer service.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
When hiring a lawn service it is important to understand the level of service you require. Are you just looking for the hurry up and knock it down maintenance? Or do you require a more manicured, attention to detail service? Make sure the technician you are hiring is suitable to your needs. Anybody with a truck and a mower can mow your yard. But if you are looking for long term success for your lawn, make sure technician has the experience, tools, staff and the ability to perform such tasks.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
The best thing about working in the lawn care and Landscape industry would have to be the instant gratification, when you are done with a maintenance, you put the gate up on the trailer and look back at a job well done and know that you made an improvement. The smell of fresh cut grass in the air, and knowing that every time we leave a job, it looks fantastic, has to be the most rewarding aspect of this line of work.
What areas do you mainly service?
Have traveled as far south as Ft. Myers, Arcadia and Bradenton and as far north as Zephyrhills. But since I reside in Seminole Largo area, anywhere within 20 miles is usually acceptable. With reliable transportation and equipment, can travel anywhere to service (for the right price).
