How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I have been in the business for over 30 years. I started out in New Jersey and now I am living in North Carolina. I did not think I would get back into the business, however, I started doing a few yards and fell back in love with the work. The smile and happiness of the customer when the work is completed makes my day. You also get to meet a lot of nice people and I have had a lot of beautiful long lasting conversations about, life, family, children, etc. Great Conversations with men and women customers. I love to talk and sometimes that gets in the way so I have to cut it short. I also like being on time and showing up when promised!

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

My work stands from another lawn service because my work is superb. It is easy because when I am doing a lawn it is like I am a professional barber or stylist. You work because you love it when you finish and look into the mirror. Grass cutting is the same, you either can cut or you cannot!. You have to inspect your work as you cut and look at the overall appearance. I get great satisfaction when I ring the doorbell and tell the homeowner to come and take a look. The wow factor is amazing. Take your time. I rarely have to go back over a lawn because I missed something. I give 100 percent and it shows in my work! Most lawn care companies are about numbers, I am not. If I do 1 lawn a day I am fine. All of my jobs are from repeat customers and strong recommendations. If your yard is not right your house looks horrible! I ALSO INCLUDE WEED KILLER ( SPEED ZONE) FOR ALL JOBS! THAT'S INCLUDED IN MY BID PRICE.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Make sure when you hire someone you inspect there work. Look for inconsistencies, uneven trimming, edging is not a straight or round line depending on what you are edging. Look to see if the person is trimming the foundation of the home properly. You can pretty much tell the way someone is cutting, trimming and edging if they know what they are doing. or if they care. I love it when my customers are watching me through there window as I work there property. I really show off then! Most providers don't care. I do! All I need is one opportunity and a chance to prove myself! Also, look for quality and being on time.

I like the competitiveness and the opportunity to show my work.
