Marvin Nelson is originally from New York but moved to Marietta two years ago. Marvin has been working in the landscaping industry for over three years now and absolutely loves working in Georgia. Marvin is the founder of Nelson & Son Lawn Maintenance, a company that prides itself on quality service and customer care. Marvin has around 10 weekly clients and 15 clients in total.
His business is rapidly expanding and more and more people are contacting Marvin in an effort to maintain their lawn. Marvin services the metro Atlanta area and says he is willing to travel far and wide for his clients. Specifically, Marvin says he will travel out to Fulton Country, Douglas County, Cobb Country, Dekalb County and Gwinnett County. Nevertheless, the majority of Marvin’s clients are from Marietta and the surrounding areas. Marvin has used a variety of marketing tactics although he believes that word of mouth has allowed him to attract many customers. He also hands out business cards at every opportunity to promote his services to others in his neighborhood. Aside from mowing,
Marvin also does trimming, edge cutting, leaf blowing and pickup, sod installation, and fertilization. Marvin enjoys working outdoors and satisfying his customers by exceeding their expectations. Initially, Marvin was drawn to the industry as he noticed that there was a need for more lawn care professionals in his area. Been in business for two years. Knowing people needed my services is what inspired me to get started

The thing I like most about the lawn care industry is the reaction on the customers face when a job is well done
