How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I am just starting the lawn care business with my son. My son has already been doing basic lawn care to earn extra money while in school, and I have over 30 years of experience doing my own yard hence we decided to do this together. My previous income had me working extensive hours while seated, leaving me out of shape. The landscaping industry will serve as a great exercise for me, and my son will finally be able to build up his clientele.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

We take pride in doing what we are doing at all times. We work hard to get the task done correctly and efficiently. With the tools that we use, we have had several compliments on how quiet the lawn equipment is. Most people are not aware we are doing the job. We do basic mowing, edge trimming, hedge trimming, blowing away debris and leaf pickup.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Best advice I can give a client is to always check the work after it is finished. Mistreatment of your yard can kill the progress you are trying to achieve.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

Aside from being able to smell the fresh cut grass and connecting with nature. I also enjoy getting the instant gratification from a job well done and being able to see it as well.

What areas do you mainly service?

We are starting off small. Mostly in our own neighborhood within about 15 miles from us. But we eventually want to service the entire DFW Metroplex area.
