This Pro's Story
Ever since he was 12 years old, Adam Magee has been mowing yards. He started off pushing his mower through the neighborhood and knocked on doors to make a little extra money. That passion for mowing has stayed with Adam ever since. So in 2011, he officially started Magee Lawn Services and now has 3 full time employees. "We are a small enough landscaping business to care about each and every lawn and also big enough to tackle any job a homeowner needs," Adam says.
He has lived in Affton, Missouri all his life and doesn't plan on leaving. "Missouri will always be home to me," Magee says. "All of my family, friends, and customers are here so there is no need in going anywhere."
Magee and his crew service over 60 customers per week and also service some commercial properties including a few Walgreen's and St Mary's High School off of Grand Boulevard.
Adam and his crew service Affton, Crestwood, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, St. Louis, Bella Villa, Lemay, Sunset Hills, Oakland, MacKenzie, and Mehlville. They even travel east and provide lawn care in Chesterfield, Mo, and landscaping services in Ballwin, Missouri.
Adam attributes his prompt service with high quality work as his means to customer retention. "Every job we do, we make sure to send the customer an email or a text message to ask them how they liked the service or if they want anything done different next time," Adam explains. "We want to make sure that every homeowner gets their money's worth when they hire us."
Magee Lawn Services will handle anything outside of your house as well. They do full landscaping design, retaining walls, patios, snow and leaf removal, mulching, sodding, aeration, pressure washing and gutter cleaning.
What gives Adam the most satisfaction is seeing his customer happy. "There is no better feeling in the world than seeing something you did make someone happy," Adam says. "That is a feeling that will never get old
When Adam gets a little down time, he enjoys fishing at Bennet Spring State Park in Lebanon, Mo, and tinkering with his 1967 Ford Fairlane. Adam is also pursuing his degree and currently taking classes at William Woods University.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
We have been in business for 7 years, our owner started Magee Lawn Services when he was just twelve years old!

We provide top notch service at an affordable price. Our customers love the quality of service they receive, but especially note our customer service.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Really do your homework and ask a lot of questions, we often clean up the mess other (less expensive) companies left behind.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
We enjoy the freedom of the outdoors and seeing a smile on our customers face when we are done with their property.

We service South St. Louis County, city and surrounding regions.
