This Pro Story
Hello everyone! We started Luke's Lawns to combine our two loves, our love for nature an our planet and our love of DOGS and supporting rescue groups. We provide all natural lawn care, we don't use chemicals or pesticides and any product we may use are ORGANIC and ECO FRIENDLY. We love that our business helps us donate to local shelters, rescue groups and animal rights activists. A portion of every lawn we mow goes to support the care and rehoming of an unwanted dogs. We ourselves have 5 dogs, two of which are rescue. If you choose us you'll be hiring a local family owned and run business, myself, my husband Mark and our son LUKE will take wonderful care of your lawn, provide you with a professionally manicured lawn and in the process you'll be helping make the life of a local rescue animal better, so it's a WIN/WIN- you get a great looking lawn and you get to feel good...Thank you for considering our business. Becky, Mark & Luke
Lawn & Yard Services Offered:
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been mowing lawns for 38 years, I started when I was 10 taking care of the lawns at my parents resort at the Lake of the Ozarks, we had 49 cabins that I was responsible for. I later went on the work for a large landscaping company in Overland Park and I recently quit my full time job to focus on lawn care full time. I love working outdoors and I love working hard, I find these days many people don't want to put in a good honest days work, I take pride in the work ethic I was taught by my grandfather and I'm proud to pass that on to my son (Luke) and this job allows me to work with him
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
We are reliable and dependable, if we say we'll be there and do a service for you, we'll be there. We provide quality work and we take pride in what we do. We are respectful of your property and we are grateful for the opportunity to provide you with a service.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Don't necessarily go with the cheapest bid, you get what you pay for! I't important to pay a "fair" amount for your needed service, but the price isn't always the best representation of what you need, look also for someone who you can count on, trust and know they will do what you hired them to do, not just do what benefits them,
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I like to work outdoors and the satisfaction I get in providing a quality job for homeowners.
What areas do you mainly service?
Franklin County, Miami County, Anderson County, Johnson County & Douglas County
