How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
My husband worked for the City of Huntsville Landscape Management Team,he started out in the cemetery's weed eating,then over time he was finally in charge of his own crew and operator of the big mowers the Toro's with the three cutting decks. Outside of Lawn Care we love. So about 10 years. My inspiration came from growing up in Gurley Alabama we worked hard as children around our home, being we were on a farm of sorts, and lawn upkeep was a normal weekly thing so it's natural to me.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
We go out to do the job just like any other lawn service provider, not out here trying to to be the fanciest or loudest company , but I do let my work speak for itself. I am competitive as the next company, but we do not work for free.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Always consider what we go through on a day to day basis, equipment we have to acquire to stay in the game, so when cutting a yard is simple, it adds up when extra services are expected that are not discussed in the initial contact, No One works for Free. We have bills just as everyone else, and throttling back on prices makes it hard, in an example " no one will mow, trim, weed eat, use blowers, etc for $35 on anything bigger than an acre, and those jobs start pretty pricey. So yes we did choose this field but not for the fun of it, we want our children to have something if their own as they mature into adulthood if they choose this field of work as a hobby , side job or full on, it's being built for them.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
Being outside , the freedom to move about not being crowded as if it were a fast food job, and helping to beautify a home, or even neighborhood as per the lawn service.
What areas do you mainly service?
We service mainly yard mowing,weed eating,trimming, hedges ( at an assessed fee) ,we use blowers just like everyone else does,we trim or line up your lawn edges,etc. or per clients needs, only thing I am not into right now is doing any mulch right now, in the future sometime.
