Henry Lawson has always been landscaping. As a teenager, he started working for a larger landscaping company. After working his way to a crew lead, he knew he had learned everything he needed to successfully run his own business. So in 2015 Henry officially started Lawson Lawn Care. Henry is also a certified carpenter and a jack of all trades.
He has lived in Orlando area all of his life and currently resides in Rosemont. "All I know is Florida so I will never leave," Henry explains. "My friends, family, and all of my customers are here so there is no reason to leave and go anywhere else."
Henry services most of the proper Orlando area but specifically mows lawns in Kissimmee, Florida, Apopka, Rosemont, Lake Mary, Winter Garden, Winter Springs, Maitland, Azalea Park, Conway, Alafaya, and even cuts grass in Winter Park, Florida.
Henry has grown his customer base to over 50 recurring homeowners and looking to grow his business with more residential properties and some commercial accounts.
When asked what separates his business from all of the other lawn care providers, Henry says that it's his attention to detail and additional work that he performs for his customers. "When I am on a customer's property, I don’t mind doing a little extra work for no charge. I am already there so I will go ahead and trim the shrubs, pull the weeds, and trim any tree branches that may need to be cut down," Lawson explains. "I love going the extra mile."
Not only will Lawson Lawn Care handle your regular lawn care needs but he will also do your mulching, sodding, low level tree trimming, weed pulling, planting, leaf removal, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and anything outside of the house. "I want to be the one-stop shop for all of my customers," Lawson says. "I want to be that one point of contact for all of their needs."
What drives Henry's passion for this industry is his connection to his customers and his love for working with his hands. "I love talking to all of my customers and I love being outside," Lawson says. "My profession also allows me to make my own schedule and be my own boss and I look forward to seeing my finished work and making my customer happy."
When he is not beating the pavement and growing his business, you can find Henry beating on his drum set. This drummer loves to spend time teaching his daughter how to play drums and cooking with his wife. Henry and his wife are expecting a new daughter at any day now.
Henry loves to frequent any local Chipotle's and Chick-fil-A when needs to grab a quick meal in between jobs.
This Orlando native attended Apopka Elementary, Apopka Middle School, and Apopka High School.
