How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

LawnLux got started early in 2023. After spending years within the industry & seeing ways that i could alter my professional approach, i decided to branch out independently. I've always been involved with gardening since early childhood, i would spend time gardening with my grandmothers & aunts. Flower beds, vegetable gardens, trees, shrubs - i've always taken pride in the results. Before reaching middle school, i had already been featured in the Haysville Sun Times for planting trees in a local park on Arbor Day. What others see as work, i see as an art. My father worked landscape, and owned his own company before unfortunately passing away at an early age of 39. Needless to say, it was something i saw myself in, before i had ever officially worked a position in the industry.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

I can't tell you why not to go to other service providers. But i CAN assure you that here at LawnLux, we would rather spend some extra time to satisfy our client if need be - rather than pack up in a tight schedule and leave a client feeling taken advantage of. While we do take pride in our efficiency, i have no problem setting that to the side when it's necessary.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Always do you due diligence when hiring a service provider. It is simple for someone to fit within your budget, if they know that price is your main focus. But do not be nervous to press a bit further! Ask some questions, and truly make sure you are comfortable with your selection. Remember, the company you choose will be working at your property on a regular basis. Selecting a trustworthy & reliable service provider is an important decision to make.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

The lawn / landscape industry is extremely rewarding, and also very humbling. I personally don't have much, if any, negative aspects within the industry. Some way consider my opinion biased. But what i can say for certain, is that i have shaken hands with every type of person under the Sun. And nothing will ever satisfy me more than driving away from a completed service with a smile of the client's face.

What areas do you mainly service?

Our area of main service is within the Wichita metro zone. But, we do also service the areas of Derby, Haysville, Oaklawn, Augusta, Andover, Maize, and Park City as well! LawnLux always welcomes expanding to a new location, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests.
