How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
Retired from military service after 20 years and decided I wanted to start my own business. Originally I opened my LLC to do welding and fabrication, however my grandmother ask me so come by one day to cut her yard. Shortly after I ended up cutting most of her street and it expanded from there. I have the skills and experience to accomplish various lawn and landscaping projects residential or commercial. I prefer to cater to commercial properties and larger residential properties in the Lafayette area due to the insurance and personal costs. I tend to stir clear of the “cut, blow, and go” jobs as I like to personalize the care required by my clients to ensure their vision of the property is met while maintaining a healthy looking lawn.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
My work is an expression of who I am. I have been told that many of the people who have watched me work were inspired to get out and work in their own yards.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
If your are looking for a professional job with a personal touch we are your company.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I spent 4 years working with Greystone Masonry out of Stafford Virginia laying stone patios and retaining walls. I really enjoy doing Hardscape work and while likely add expand into that market once I find a good crew. My grandmother is the one who inspired me to expand into the lawncare buisness and have been growing ever since.
