I don't think anyone has edged my lawn in years. When I was a kid I always did it with an edger. I made $1.50, even picking up the grass and leaves. One dollar and 50 cents. Ah, To be a stupid kid.... I did feel the sting of sticker shock. But I was dead after an hour and a half of unraveling power cords, cutting little trees, etc. You had to haul them to the front. That ain't easy. I'm sure fighting those bushes from the undead took courage and stamina. It'd be nice to have something that actually looks good and doesn't require a lot of yearly maintenance to fill in all these blank spots where trees come up. You know? I'd like to have bulbs planted in the flower beds and bushes planted where bushes came out. Maybe just "ground cover" type stuff that's in some places in back. If that were covering more of the flower beds, that'd be nice. There's got to be something that can grow in the flower bed in back that's up against the house, always in the shade, it always grows a bunch of little trees but if it had something that could tolerate the shade, that'd be great. I'd like for you to suggest something and put it in. Even if it's just the same ground cover but planted in more places. And something for the flower bed by the house in that little place. It's too shady for that ground cover stuff. Even ferns would be great. And then there's the shed. I've got all the paint and stuff to do it. I'm scared of painting. It bugs me. I don't know why. I can't remember screwing anything up but it's like I did make a big mistake. Maybe I just can't remember. I don't know. Have a great weekend.
