Hicks & Hicks Lawn and Services was founded in 2002. The owners, Arrington and Xavier Hicks, started providing lawn services for family members and neighbors as a way to make money during the summer months. Because of their dedication and eye for detail, their clientele grew. In 2007, Arrington left for college at Eastern Michigan University. While he was away, Xavier kept the business going. In 2010, Xavier headed up north to attend the University at Albany. During their collegiate years, their father maintained their accounts. Upon returning from Michigan, Arrington picked up where he left off in 2007. He was able to secure more accounts for the company and expand the business by providing more services than before.

In May of 2014, Xavier completed his post-secondary studies at the University at Albany and returned to Florida. The pair are more dedicated than ever to providing excellent customer service and impeccable lawn care services.

Arrington and Xavier provide services for numerous homeowners in the area and also service commercial properties as well. They service the greater Central Florida but specifically mow yards in Winter Park, Florida, Longwood, Casselberry, Maitland, Eatonville, and even cut yards in Altamonte Springs, Fl.

Hicks & Hicks Lawn care is not only your go-to for your regular lawn mowing needs but they also handle tree trimming, mulching, shrub and bush trimming, leaf and debris removal, sodding, landscape design, gutter cleaning, minor irrigation repairs, pressure washing, spring/fall cleanouts, and much more. "We handle just about everything outside of the home," Arrington explains. "Hicks & Hicks wants to be your one-stop shop for everything landscaping."

When asked what has led to their tremendous growth, Arrington replied "Our work." He goes on to further explain, "We pay close attention to every detail of our work. I will never leave any property without knowing that we did our best or never leave a property without knowing that the homeowner is 100% satisfied."

Arrington and Xavier both love working with their hands and love being outside in the Florida weather. "Xavier and I were always helping out our family members with work around their houses so it has always something that we enjoyed doing," Hicks says. "Now we get to do what we love and create beautiful lawns for our customers."
