This Pro's Story
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
We started GreenServ PropertyCare in 2014 after years of considering it. The wife bringing home assorted gardening tools from a friend she helped move was the impetus as I took it as a sign this was the right move. It was and we haven't looked back.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Because we stand by our motto of "Serving your green needs as we would our own." We take the extra time to pay attention to detail. I suppose in some ways we're a little ocd about it because we know competition in our industry is fierce and we have to do the little things that separate us from the herd.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Just treat us with mutual respect. We realize there are many out there that don't go the extra mile it takes to develop a long term relationship but there are those of us that do. We are always training, investing and networking with our fellow providers and vendors to make sure we consistently provide the best service and results.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
We are a brotherhood and although there are many of us that do this work, not many stay in business long because of the constant hard work and expense on a daily basis. But for those of us that have worked under the harsh, florescent lights of the office; nothing beats the sights, sounds & smells of working outdoors.
What areas do you mainly service?
Because of fuel related costs we try to stay within a 15 mi radius of our home base which is Spring. But we do have long time customers as far out as Cypress (30 mi) and will travel for the right project.
