We our family owned and operated. My wife and I decided to start our company to help other homeowners or businesses achieve The greatest lawns they could possibly have. All the while teaching our children, a good work ethic, Customer service, In something they can always take through life to help them be prosperous in their future families.
Here at Great Lakes Grass Co. We will always treat your lawn as if it was our own lawn. We will always strive to leave our customers, satisfied and happy with the appearance of their lawn and yard.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been doing landscaping and yardwork since I was big enough to drive a riding lawnmower. My father owned his own landscaping business, and I worked with him every day after school and on the weekends. After high school I chose a different career path in life (Commercial plumbing), But I have always cut grass on the side. My father is my inspiration for landscaping because I have watched him an ugly home and turn it into something beautiful.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Because we treat your Yard as if it was our yard. we strive to make your home stand out from the rest of the homes and your community. We want to leave your home being the Yard. Everybody looks at when they drive down the street and inspires them to try to make their yard look the same. Upon request, we will cut your yard with designs, diagonal striping, or anything you may want cut into it .
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
we just ask if you have any obstacles in your yard to please have those picked up and out-of-the-way to protect our Mower blades. Also, if you have animals to please have their waist picked up so we don’t throw poo all around your yard. We also will Pick up and dispose of animal waste if that may be a service you need.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
What I like most about the industry is seeing the customer satisfied When the work is done
What areas do you mainly service?
We service all of the downriver area, Monroe county, and anywhere else if it makes sense
