This Pro's Story
My name is Matt Rawles and I own and operate Grass Matters Lawn Services LLC, a small business based in Meridian. I specialize in full service yard maintenance, including every aspect of your yard maintenance needs, for home owners, rental properties and Airbnb properties.
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been in lawn care for 10 years, five working for the State of Idaho, maintaining some of their historical sites and administration properties. I have been helping customers take care of their yards for five years as a side business. July 2025 I made it official and registered an LLC and got licensed and insured and started Grass Matters LLC. I love being able to help make customers yards look amazing.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I am 100 percent reliable and make sure the customer is completely satisfied with their service. I am a one man small business and treat every yard like my own. The quality of work is my name and reputation.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Hire a business that has good communication, reliability and does excellent work.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I love being able to help take a chore off of a customers list and let them enjoy their free time and family a little bit more. One less thing for them to worry about.

I mainly service Meridian and Kuna.
