How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been mowing lawns for friends and family for years. I started using an app to find and serve clients professionally about a year ago.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I see some pro teams mow and edge a lawn in about 15 or 20 minutes, and while that may be enviably efficient, I enjoy working at a steady pace on a few lawns a day. I always do a something extra- I might pull a few weeds, plant some good grass seed on a bare spot, or clear a fire ant bed.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Just try to be consistent. It's more efficient to maintain a lawn than to try to catch up after a rainy season, and you can enjoy a seeing nice lawn every day in the meantime.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
Mowing a few lawns a day gives me a chance to meet new people, and a chance to accomplish something something simple and straightforward in a single afternoon. Most of my other professional projects have taken weeks or months to complete.
