This Pro's Story
DWE Lawn Care had been a thought in David Ensey's mind for over a year. Having spent over 16 successful years in logistics, being an independent service provider with FedEx, and managing several employees, he had some neighbors notice how well he kept his 5-acre lawn perfectly manicured. "I am very particular when it comes to my lawn," David laughs, "I make sure everything is perfect."
"I have a 60" Bad Boy mower that I mow my own yard with so I just decided to start mowing my neighbors lawns as well," Ensey explains. "I really enjoy mowing lawns, take pride in making things look great and love seeing a finished product so it seemed like a natural transition to start my own business"
The Nashville native now lives in Mt Juliet but went to East High School in Nashville and grew up around the 16th and Shelby area. "Nashville is truly home to me," Ensey explains, "I love this area."
David and his crew will not only take care of your regular lawn maintenance but they will also handle your pressure washing, gutter cleaning, hedge and shrub pruning, and mulching needs. "We love being outside and making everything beautiful."
DWE Lawn Care is currently servicing the Mt Juliet, East Nashville, 5 Points, Donelson, Madison, Hermitage and Old Hickory areas.
When asked What drew him into the industry Ensey replied, "I have always loved working with my hands and used to build Keith Black motors for funny cars in my grandfather's machine shop when I was younger." A true machinist and perfectionist at heart, he has taken his love for working outside and attention to detail into his new venture.
Let's hope he doesn’t add one of his 1500hp engines to his Bad Boy mower….actually, that would be AWESOME!!
When David is not out mowing, he loves relaxing and spending time with his wife Tracie and their 14 year old daughter.
They are also members at Hermitage United Methodist Church and love working in the Youth ministry.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I'm a new company and looking to provide the best service possible. I once heard "if you can make one persons life easier you can change the world".
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
Being a new company is always hard and I'm willing to give the personal attention that we all deserve.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
I have always enjoyed a clean and neat yard and would like to earn your respect.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I enjoy serving the public and after a job is complete, I like being able to stand back and say (I did that) and be proud.
