How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

My story, My name is Drew and I have always enjoyed cutting grass and doing all sorts of projects outside my whole life. I got started landscaping on a professional level when I started working for the City of Milton 5 years ago in the Landscape Department. There I gained professional skills I don't think you could gain even working for some of the best landscaping companies around. I have learned everything from cutting grass professionally on highways, in parks, on baseball fields and football fields, treatment plants, cemeteries etc. I have learned how to professionally build retaining walls, lay pavers, lay sod and many other skills. So, having learned these skills I have decided to venture out on my own and provide lawn care services for people in need. A lot of the companies out here want to accumulate as many lawns as they can and do a quick cut and go to maximize profits. They like to use heavy equipment such as commercial grade lawnmowers on people's precious lawns, which after repeated use on the same yard will eventually leave ruts. I use a residential grade riding lawnmower designed for the homeowner. I also bag all my yards which it can be hard to find someone to do that. Bagging a yard picks up 99% of grass clipping along with small twigs, trash, sticks and many other things you don't want on your lawn. Most companies  don't offer bagging and will leave your lawn full with grass clipping and cut up trash which will eventually kill your grass.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

I love working outside. I simply love to make a lawn look good and look back at it as I drive off. I enjoy making people happy and love it when someone tells me how good of a job I do as if it is completely worth the price they are paying.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

I mainly want to service the Milton/ Pace area. But I don't mind going into Pensacola.

What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

I just started my own business this year but on a professional level I have been landscaping for 5+ years.

What areas do you mainly service?

I pay attention to detail. It's the little things that matters sometimes. Did he just cut my lawn and blow the driveway off? Or did he get every little weed growing in between the cracks in my driveway and sidewalk. When I give a price I am including everything from cutting the grass, edging, weedwacking, hedge trimming and blowing. I complete all of these services each time I return. No skipping the hedges or skipping a little edging on any trip. I have a certain order I complete my services and I make sure I go through each of them every service. I also bag my yards and haul off the clipping. This can be extremely hard to find someone that wants to do that. If your going to cut grass you might as well do it right!!! Right?
