How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have not been in the landscaping business for very long but I have been doing other people's lawns that I care about, people that I love such as my parents, my children and places where I have lived. Do I love this business? Yes and no. It is hard work, the weather can be unpredictable it can be hot or humid or raining which is something out of my control of course. Do I love this business? In a way yes I get to be outside I don't like being cooped up inside I like to see a house go from shaggy to neat in a couple hours.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I can't honestly answer this question without exaggeration. I don't know other people in this industry. All I can say is I will take care of your property the way I would like to be treated. Price also dictates how much time I can spend on your property. If a person pays me $30-$40 dollars to do their lawn I can promise about 1-2 hours of attention. If a person wants more attention to details such as weed pulling, leaf removal or grass clippings removed the amount of time will need to be more, which means the amount of pay will go up..
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Be nice to us. We work in the hot sun all day. We get dirty from all the grass clippings and dirt being kicked up from the tools we use. We are human. We are just tryin to put food on our tables just like you. I worked on a property for over four and a half hours because it hadn't been serviced for probably a month. I did what I though was a GREAT job. The customer paid me 30 dollars. (That comes out to about $7.00 an hour.) And still he complained that the grass was to tall and I missed a tiny spot after I had gone home for the day. I canceled all other jobs from him and he kept hounding me. He sent me about 10 texts complaining.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I like working outdoors. I like seeing a property go from shaggy to neat. I like to think when the job is done the homeowner sees the property and enjoys the way it looks.
What areas do you mainly service?
Areas of the map: Dallas, Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Louisville, Coppell, (areas around Carrollton Texas.) Areas of work: I mainly cut lawns, I will edge the sidewalks and driveways, I will do the weed whacking, with a string trimmer, I will blow the debris off the sidewalks and driveways, I can provide weed and feed for your lawn, I can trim hedges, I can prune tree branches if necessary, if you have any dead plants or trees on your property that need to be removed I can do that also, I can bring in mulch and I can do small cement jobs concrete slabs..
