Blackwood's Landscape Maintenance is an established High Desert business serving the area since the mid 80's.

How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?

I started in high school mowing lawns after school in the mid 70's. I had a 1965 Chevy step side with a custom paint job. My dad owned a Landscaping business, so I would help him with the installs, and then get the maintenance. In college I was doing multiple tracks of model homes between school days. After college I back packed through Europe and did odd jobs, including gardening.

How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?

We show up clean and sober. We get it done.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

You get what you pay for. It is a luxury to have a regular landscape maintenance business service your property. We are not having any going out of business sales today . We are not in competition to be the cheapest in a race to the bottom.. Call Two Buck Chuck in a Truck if that's what you want. What do you like most about the lawn care industry?

I love working outside. Genesis 2:15 speaks of God putting man in the garden to work and keep the garden. What a Blessing to be able to work alongside the Creator of the Universe.

What areas do you mainly service?

Victorville is our main focus. We also serve South Adelanto, Apple Valley and Hesperia.
