How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
Our business is a 2-part business, including home and lawn care! I have been in healthcare for over 13 yrs and my husband (the jack of all trades) previously helped his father at his lawn business but most recently (20yrs!) was the manager at a local shop...so he knows many of you already! We opened this business in honor of my grandmother (Ava). She spent her adult years working as a landscaper at a facility for adults with special needs where she would teach the residents how to landscape as well. Her passion was both helping others and working in her yard. Her own yard was so beautiful people would stop to take pictures or ask if it was for sale! We decided we wanted to give that back to our community! So here we are: Ava’s Home & Lawn Services LLC! We are family owned and operated so if you are not happy, we are not happy! How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
The premise of our business is that when my grandmother moved to Florida from Vermont, what did she need help with? The answer? Everything, and who would we want helping her? Someone who cares! As a family owned and operated business, we have the ability to do just that and we refuse to have it any other way! Our slogan is: From our hearts, to your homes!
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Put your trust in the people that make you feel comfortable! When in doubt, follow your gut! We are here to help and to please!
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
We simply love helping others and seeing the happiness it brings them!
