Hi I’m Trey Kirkland, Owner/Operator of American Outdoor Services. I started this business in 2021 as side gig. Since then I’ve went full time in 2022 in hopes to build one of the most respected and reliable landscaping companies in this area. We look forward to working with you and making all of your lawn care/landscaping visions come to life!
How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I’ve been in the landscaping industry going on 3 seasons now. It started as a side gig but in 2022 it turned into a full time thing. I’ve always liked mowing and doing outside work so I would say that’s where I got the inspiration from. I like taking yards and making them look better than before!
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I think it stands out from others because I take pride in my work. I believe in giving the customers what they paid for. There are companies that cut corners but my company is not one of them. When quoting jobs I like to walk the customer through how we’ll do the job and certain things like that.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Make sure they’re the right fit! Have them walk you through what they’ll be doing to your yard and explain the steps to you to make it a comfortable and positive experience for you.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
I would say meeting new people is what I like most about this industry. You meet people from all walks of life and get to help them out everyday. Another thing is meeting other business owners in this industry and sharing ideas with each other.
What areas do you mainly service?
Mainly service Madison County since that’s where I’m located. I also serve Jasper,Jennings,Live Oak, Lake Park, and Monticello.
