How many years have you been in landscaping business, and what inspired you to get started?
I have been in the mowing and landscaping industry for 10 years. I am very knowledgeable about plants and trees, as I have a degree in genetic biology and took many plant courses in college. I always enjoyed mowing and then started a company in college to make some money to live off of. I enjoyed it so much, I have just kept with it. I love going out and meeting new customers. I have experience with all types of landscaping, hardscaping, mowing and all that comes with that. I also provide aeration, seeding, fertilizing and weed control. I have amazing employees who are fantastic at building retaining walls and tiers. They also can perform all your irrigation needs. We do tree service as well.
How does your work stand out from other lawn service companies in the area?
I make sure I do exactly what the customer wants. Even if I do not agree about a particular item, the customer is always right and my job is to please them. If for some reason the customer is unhappy with the job, I would come back out and fix it free of charge (this has never happened before). I take my time while being efficient so that the job is done right and will hold up over time. As far as the mowing goes, I double cut everything and my lines are always perfect.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
I would say the cheapest bid isn't always the best if you are looking for quality. I would also reach out and talk about possible recurring jobs because that might bring the price down. I always love getting a phone call and chatting with the customer.
What do you like most about the lawn care industry?
My favorite thing about the industry is seeing the look of complete satisfaction and joy in the customer's face after I completed their job. My number one goal is to keep the customer happy, so that just enthralls me to see that I did my job well.
What areas do you mainly service?
Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Johnson and some of Douglas Counties. I will also go up to 45 min from Shawnee if the job is large enough.
